About the Event

The MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship is an affiliate of KRAVE Group LLC, a partnership that includes three-time 500cc Grand Prix World Champion, two-time AMA Superbike Champion, and AMA Hall of Famer Wayne Rainey; ex-racer, former vice president of motorsports operations at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA), and former managing director of Team Roberts in the Grand Prix World Championship Chuck Aksland; executive director of the Petersen Automotive Museum Terry Karges; and energy sector investor and businessman Richard Varner.

 

MotoAmerica is officially sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). The series features seven classes of motorcycle road racing: Quad Lock Superbike, Supersport, Talent Cup, Twins Cup, Mission King of the Baggers, Royal Enfield Build. Train. Race., and Mission Super Hooligan.

 

MotoAmerica has reinvigorated motorcycle road racing in North America, with a primary goal of developing riders for top-level international championships like MotoGP and World Superbike.

 

The series also honors the storied history of AMA production-based motorcycle road racing. With Superbike racing rooted in the United States, MotoAmerica proudly serves as both a steward of the sport’s heritage and a catalyst for its future. MotoAmerica Superbikes comes to Barber Motorsports Park May 15–17. Enjoy qualifying on Friday, followed by all-day racing Saturday and Sunday for the following five series: Quad Lock Superbike, Supersport, Talent Cup, Twins Cup, and Mission Super Hooligan.
