GENERAL INFORMATION

ADA Accessibility

ADA viewing is located next to Turn 14 and adjacent to Lot E. Spectators needing assistance can ride one of the ADA accessible trams to move throughout the Park. These trams will run continuously throughout each day of the weekend.

ADA Parking

  • Onsite ADA Parking – Onsite ADA parking is located at Turn 14, Lot D and adjacent to Lot E across from the ADA viewing area. Spectators that need to park in the ADA parking will need to purchase either a Premium Onsite Parking pass or Onsite Parking pass online. Click here to purchase a parking pass.
  • Offsite ADA Parking – Offsite ADA parking is available at the lot located across from the main entrance of the Barber Motorsports Park on Friday and Saturday. Complimentary ADA accessible trams will be available all weekend from 7:30 am to approximately 2 hours after the conclusion of the last race.

Airport

Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport is located about 14 miles from the Barber Motorsports Park. For more information, please visit https://www.flybirmingham.com/.

Alcohol Policy

No alcoholic beverages may be served or sold to anyone under the age of 21 years. There shall be NO consumption of alcohol on the shuttles from any of the parking lots. Barber Motorsports Park has a strict NO GLASS policy. Please make sure that all alcoholic beverages brought onsite are NOT in glass bottles.

ATM

There will be an AmFirst ATM machine located in the Fan Zone.

Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum

The Museum will be open Friday-Sunday, 8am-6pm. Event tickets do NOT include admission to the Museum. Please see below for admission prices:

  • Adults: $15
  • Children (4-12): $10
  • Children 3 & under: FREE
  • Weekend pass (October 4-6): $25

Concessions

Concessions will be located in the Fan Zone, GEICO Lower Swap Meet, GEICO Upper Swap Meet, Turns 2/3 Hillside, Turns 15/16 Hillside and the Paddock.

Cooler Policy

Spectators are allowed to bring coolers onsite with the understanding that all coolers are subject to reasonable inspection before entering and/or anytime throughout the weekend. Please make sure that all alcoholic beverages brought onsite are NOT in glass bottles.

Ear Protection

For your safety, comfort and viewing pleasure, ear protection is advised for all spectators. Ear protection will NOT be available for purchase onsite.

First Aid

Spectators in need of medical attention should visit the Grandview Medical Center tent located in the Fan Zone. In the case of an emergency, please contact event personnel, security or a volunteer.

Military

All active and retired military will receive 10% off General Admission wristbands upon arrival with valid military identification.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycles can park onsite for FREE all weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.

Off-Site Parking

Off-site car parking is available on Friday and Saturday at the lot located directly across from the main entrance of the Barber Motorsports Park with a brief shuttle to the Park.

Onsite Parking

  • Premium Onsite Parking – Premium Onsite Parking is located in Lot E and valid Friday-Sunday, October 4-6. Lot E is located directly across from the Fan Zone and adjacent to the GEICO Lower Swap Meet. Click here to purchase Premium Onsite Parking.
  • Onsite Parking – Onsite Parking is located in Lot D and valid Friday and Saturday, October 4 and 5. Lot D is located adjacent to the GEICO Upper Swap Meet. Click here to purchase Onsite Parking.
  • Sunday Onsite Parking – Sunday Onsite Parking is FREE for all spectators and located in the best available lot upon arrival.

Weather

If inclement weather is approaching, special PA announcements will be made continuously during the period of inclement weather. Spectators will be made aware of the impending weather or advised to take immediate precautions prior to the race event being suspended. Racing will continue promptly after the storm clears. The following is a list of weather warning scenarios:

  • Scenario 1 – Rain showers in the vicinity: spectators will be alerted that rain showers are in the area, but racing will continue.
  • Scenario 2 – Severe weather warning: spectators will be alerted that severe weather is in the area. Racing will continue until officials determine that the safety of the competitors and spectators is at risk. In the event of a severe weather warning, please take shelter in the following locations:
    • In your vehicle
    • Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum
    • Bathrooms/shower facilities on the 2nd and 3rd tier of the Paddock
    • Shelter bays under Race Control in the Paddock
    • Bathrooms/shower facilities near Lot E
