Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the success of the event and your support is invaluable! We will be enlisting the help of approximately 300 volunteers to work on various committees, but more importantly we want to ensure that each individual has a once in a lifetime experience. Registration for the 13th Annual Barber Vintage Festival is currently closed. Please sign up for our email list for more updates.
All volunteers will be required to purchase a volunteer package. Package details will be announced in July 2018.
Each volunteer is given the opportunity to list three committee preferences. To see a listing of available committees, click here. You will be notified of your committee assignment after we receive and process your application. Positions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
A-TEAM - A "utility" position, A-TEAM volunteers will perform a variety of tasks throughout the event. This position is ideal for the problem solver that's not afraid to fill in with different committees at different times.
ADMISSIONS - Be the first face that visitors see when they enter the park and act as an ambassador for the Barber Vintage Festival. You will be working at the gates greeting guests, providing customer service, and scanning tickets.
COMMUNICATIONS - Responsible for charging and distributing radios.
FAN ZONE - Responsible for greeting and directing spectators entering the Fan Zone, providing park information and operating the lost and found.
PADDOCK CREDENTIALS - Responsible for the signing of waivers and distributing paddock passes for spectators entering the paddock area.
PADDOCK MARSHALS - Responsible for pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the paddock area.
PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION - Responsible for making sure all coolers are filled with drinks and water each morning and replenished throughout the day.
RACE CONTROL SECURITY - To help check credentials and distribute wristbands and meal vouchers to those who are allowed access inside the Paddock Club.
VOLUNTEER HEADQUARTERS/VOLUNTEER HOSPITALITY - Responsible for checking-in volunteers, answering questions, and helping feed the volunteer group.
As part of the volunteer package, each volunteer will receive a credential that will serve as a ticket to access the event during the days you are working as well as the days you are not scheduled to volunteer.
